Feb 26, 2010 The covering of the wall crown is ready and the terrace is tidy.

The special compound for the sealing is waiting and here on the top of the house we begin with the very last working steps in this area.

2 layers of a rubber-like fluid, first grey then red, are poured to get the floor waterpoof. Up to this, the floor-tiles will be laid.

  Until the end of the week the excavation works for the swimming pool will be done and we can begin with the armourings for the basin and the side walls.   Image optimacasa   Image optimacasa
                     
  Some smaller works are getting done. Now, after all the windows being fit in, we will continue with plastering.

The last remaining basement room is prepared now for having the false ceiling and tiling being made.

We waited for about two months for the frames of the LED lightning for the stairway. Now they are set and the electrical installation is prepared.

  Until Wednesday both outer walls of the sides are plastered and the upper part of the storefront, too.

The window borderings made from Mares stone will be sealed with a special liquid, what will prevent them from humidity.

Feb 19, 2010 On Wednesday the windows will be delivered and on Tuesday we will begin with the installation.

The triplex window has a weight of ca. 60 kg/m² - first we have to set the frames and the glass afterwards.

The windows are meeting the passive standard and have an isolation value that is five times higher than the normal climalite windows used on the island.

Until Friday evening the biggest part of the doors and windows is installed and next week the big entrance door will be delivered.

  All four Mares-frames of the upper windows are ready until the windows arrive. Now it is visible, how exclusive the stone is, when all fine work is finished. Image optimacasa
                     
Feb 12, 2010 Week review:

Milimeter work as we size in the window banks.

In this upper window row we have to set the window banks and the facings from Mares stones before the windows are sized in.

Next week the windows should be
set, therefore everything has to be prepared.

  The brick roof is ready. Now only the completions have to be cleaned and the remaining stone plates have to be set at the wall coverage.

The two ventilation chimneys are also roughly cast now and the upper roof terrace is almost ready, so the water proof layer can be cast and the terrace can be tiled.

  The windows of the 2nd floor are prepared for upcoming works. The lintel is set and the block-out for the window frames are sized, the base for the window sills is armed and cast.

Within this arm the decorative strip will be saved with steel anchors along the whole width of the storefront .

Feb 05, 2010 Week review:

Until Friday all roof tiles are laid and a clean edge of mortar has been done.

The cast for the roof overhang is not needed anymore and can be removed.
