And another small change: The locker room in the suite on the first floor is gone. Therefore the sleeping room becomes bigger and brighter and the furnishing will be more flexible. The walls that already have been built have to go again, but at this stage it is not such a big problem to do.
The changing works on second floor also continue. The wall to the sleeping room is nearly ready now and the former window opening became a big terrace door now. |

Decisions: I overthougt the living concept for the 2nd floor and arrange the rooms completely new:
The former sleeping area within the centre will become a salon now, the bathroom changes from the right to the left hand side and gets a seperate door and the former bathroom at the right hand side will become a big sleeping room with a door and entrance to the terrace.
In the meantime, the isolation layer is on the roof and cast with concrete and also the masonry works in the ground floor keep going. One can recognize the guest bathroom and left the storage room. |

The ceilings in the extra basement rooms are plastered and also the side wall is bricked ready.
The plaster works at the walls we will do here in the basement as in the rest of the house with chalk plaster. A material which is natural and let air and humidity circulate better than other plasters.
The isolation material for the acoustic insulation was delivered and next week we will begin with the machinery room for the pool technics. |

A layer of 20 cm cork plates for the isolation of the ceiling was laid. Within the coming week there will be cast a saving concrete layer.
The inner walls and also the wall cupboards on the first floor are ready. The works on the ground floor will begin, first of all with the new bathroom and with the guest bathroom next to the dining room.
The doorway for the extra basement room is prepared and next week the interior works will begin. Then the part for the pool machinery will get an extra layer of sound isolation.

At the connections between sleeping rooms or bathrooms there is put on an extra layer of sonic isolation. The mats of glass padding are stinging into the fingers but they will do their work well. |

A good idea: the big basement room underneath the terrace and the pergola gets an own entrance from the garden side. That makes 50 m² more storage room.
The planned hatch entrance from the washkitchen is not needed anymore and the pool machinery can also go comfortably into this room. Also enough space for garden tools, wood etc.
And last but not least we have a lockable room now at the site. |

The arrangement within the rooms is going further. Non carrying walls are connected to the ceiling with foam.
A first wall cupboard is also bricked. Where ever possible I would like to have bricked cupboards, it is looking nicer. |

All the outer walls and the walls at the terraces are prepared now.
On the roof there is a first layer of isolation of 20 cm.
The inner walls are marked and will be built within the next week.
Superb sonic isolation between sleeping rooms and bathrooms: Two layers of walls with a sound isolation of 4 cm rock wool. |
