Where to build in Majorca?

Majorca offers a diversified landscape. From the coastline plane in the South to the hills in the centre of the island and the picturesque mountains in the West and North, you will easily find what your heart desires. If you manage to live without being seen in the company of the so called "haute volée" you don’t necessarily need to settle in the Calvia region. There are plenty other glamorous places, most of all the capital Palma, which should not be underestimated.

My personal opinion: The way I see it the South-East of Majorca has the most to offer. The distance to Palma and the beautiful North are only a short distance away, and regarding the climate it is the most pleasant region. The old villages of Felanitx, Campos, Santanyi or Manacor with their pretty pedestrian zones, impressive churches and squares, offer a lot, and their beaches are known as some of the finest in the Mediterranean.
